Meet the Team
Dr. Mike Muztafago - Dentist
Dr. Mike Muztafago is a Virginia native who grew up in Warrenton, VA. After completing his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) Dr. Mike moved to Richmond, VA where he ultimately earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University before moving back to southwest Virginia where he has practiced since 2016.
Dr. Mike worked with underserved populations in community health settings for several years where he gained a strong passion for improving patients’ oral health and smiles prior to his work in private practice in the Roanoke area. Outside of dentistry Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, working out, playing basketball, and any activities involving water or the mountains.
Dr. Mike is excited to join the Irby Dentistry team and looks forward to getting to know and providing excellent dental care to the patients at Crooked Road Family Dentistry.

Kaylee
Senior Hygienist
Kaylee is our senior hygienist and Rocky Mount native. She has been with the practice since 2020. In addition to caring for our patients, she enjoys riding her horses, motorcycle, hiking, and camping with her family and dogs. Kaylee is dedicated to the practice and providing exceptional care for our patients.
Amber
Front Desk Receptionist
Amber is our front desk receptionist. She is a friendly smiling face, welcoming patients to the practice. She has three children and over 10 chickens! In her free time she enjoys gardening and time with her husband and family.
Joan
Senior Dental Assistant
Joan is our senior dental assistant. She has over 40 years of experience, primarily in the practice. Joan is loved by many of our patients and is an expert in her craft in addition to being the world's best grandmother.
Michelle
Assistant
Michelle, one of our dental assistants, has 10 years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys working with patients and making sure they get the utmost care. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter on their family farm.
